Woodfest - A Night to Remember
There is a line saying "Don't wait for the storm to pass - learn to dance in the rain" which is a great summary for our outdoor concert Woodfest held on Saturday 15th July. Over 200 revellers were fully entertained from 5:00pm to 11:30pm by 5 brilliant acts. As the rain set in at about 8:30 the lawn started to fill with people embracing the moment and getting wet for their pleasure.
We had a few casualties, not people but gazebos which were damaged beyond repair but the weather didn't dampen spirits.

Captain's Weekend June 17th-18th 2023
Captain's Weekend was a 3 day long celebration of all that is great about Woodsome. On Friday 24 golfers took part in the Dawn Golf social at 6.00am followed by a hearty full english breakfast. On Saturday 172 golfers competed in Day 1 with the top 50 going through to Day 2 on the Sunday. The eventual winner with scores of nett 63 & 70 was Tim Capewell. A full Clubhouse on Saturday evening enjoyed brilliant food and fabulous company.
A fabulous weekend and thanks to all who were involved.
