My handicap is currently 16. I really enjoy playing golf at Woodsome Hall and being part of a very successful junior team. I was very proud to be part of the team of 3 that won the Halifax & Huddersfield Union Junior Team Title at Fixby G.C.
The draws for the 2023 Summer Matchplay Knockout Competitions have now been made and are available in Club V1.
1st round games to be played by 31st May.
We have a wide range of activities to keep our young golfers (and their support staff!) entertained throughout the year:
• Social Competitions - organised through the WhatsApp group
• Coaching with Jake
• Junior Captains Day - a fun event with various competitions to play plus a social BBQ for the family and outdoor games to enjoy
• Family quiz night
• Junior Open
• BBQ and camping at Woodsome
• Summer League knockout competitions - 12 & 18 hole
• Junior Order of Merit
• Junior Presentation evening
Rick is the General Manager of Woodsome Hall and is also currently the Welfare Officer. He is available on the club number 01484 602 739 and if there is an urgent matter or a Junior needs to speak in private they can ask the office to contact him. He is also available on manager@woodsome.co.uk - He is here to help!
I’m Matthew Crewe, I’m a junior organiser and was once a junior at the club (a long time ago!) I love Woodsome and golf, when I’m not trying to beat my son Tommy on the course im flipping burgers at the junior BBQ or trying to arrange my next game! Happy golfing – always here to help…
